How to outfit when you are Up North

All of our river trips and eco tours originate from our location at 5959 South Oak Street….just a half block off M-22 on the north side of town. Park safely and choose from many trips on the river, Lake Michigan or one of our many inland lakes. We are all about customizing a trip for you. We provide all the transportation with our new Ford 12 Passenger Van “Earl”. All you have to do is park your car and we take care of the rest. Public bathrooms and changing rooms are available on property.

Provision for your adventure in the “Oak Street Kayak Shack.” We can supply hats, t-shirts and sweatshirts, sun tan lotion, coolers full of ice and soft drinks, submarine sandwiches to order, chips, candy, fishing tackle, souvenirs, gifts, water socks, tubes, water toys, etc. etc. All very reasonably priced. Even if you are not doing a trip, the trading post and Kayak Shack are great places to shop!

As far as we know, we are the only dealer of Old Town Canoes and Kayaks in Leelanau County. With several models to view on property and ordering ability direct from Old Town in Maine, we can get you your boat fast and delivered right to your home. Free test rides on the river or Lake Michigan are available.
