These testaments of folks that have played our course are typical. We are proud to say that we did not take one tree down when we built the course. In fact, we planted over thirty trees and around two hundred plants and bushes as well with the help of renowned master gardener and designer Cree Woodard. This is not your typical “Wally World” course with clown mouths and dinosaur figures. On the contrary, the course was built to protect the environment and the river and offer the public some entertainment outside the bars and restaurants of Leelanau County. Good clean fun at the River!

Also, you will find historical markers with “hand painted” drawings and facts about the rich history of Glen Arbor and the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes. You can sneak in a little education for your children….they won’t even notice.
